Points scoring

The points scoring in the Wessex Cyclo-Cross League for the 2012/13 season is as follows ;

Senior Men

1st place 60 points
2nd place 57 points
3rd place 55 points
4th place 54 points
……
56th place and below 1 point

Combined Vets/Juniors/Women

1st place 60 points
2nd place 57 points
3rd place 55 points
4th place 54 points
……
56th place and below 1 point

Individual Women

1st place 10 points
2nd place 9 points
3rd place 8 points
….
10th place and below 1 point

Youths

1st place 30 points
2nd place 27 points
3rd place 25 points
4th place 24 points
….
28th place and below 1 point

Under 12′s

1st place 30 points
2nd place 27 points
3rd place 25 points
4th place 24 points
….
28th place and below 1 point

With 11 counting events a riders best 8 scores count towards final league total.

In the team competitions the teams consist of the first three riders best scores.  The next three riders from that club will constitute a ‘B’ team, then a ‘C’ team, etc.

Riders who organise or act as commissionaire at a race will be awarded 60 points for that round (subject to competing in at least 2 other rounds).
