Course Information:
The race circuit is approximately 1.7km in length and is mostly on flattish parkland that is grassed and around the rugby pitches and two wooded areas with two short muddy banked drops. The Circuit has a 5m elevation gain per lap so is predominantly flat but with a couple of steep banks which are rideable in the dry (a bit trickier if wet!). A new course for the wessex league but has been Used since 2010 for the GWR team winter flood lit league. The course is good for spectators as the start/finish/sign-on area is located next to the rugby club house which has a licenced bar and is in the centre of the course giving good views.
Parking:
Access is at super marine rugby club where there are three car parks to use. Please follow direction arrows to the sign on table that will be inside the grounds next to the start finish of the race. Car parking at the event is without charge.
Refreshments:
Drinks, cakes and snacks will be on sale during the day from the club house.
Toilets/Showers/Changing Facilities:
Supermarine has toilets and shower / changing facilities and will be available for use. please use the ones designated for the cyclo cross race.
